The room was nice and quiet general, but the sound of water flowing through the pipes in the walls every time someone above flushed was annoying. They also need to instruct the cleaning staf...

I am very likely to return to the Sand Dollar Inn Monterey.

This hotel's location is about 2 blocks from Cannery Row, but don't be fooled by ads of 'ocean view rooms'. The staff is knowledgeable about the area and various area events.

I am very likely to return to the Sand Dollar Inn Monterey.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We got a reservation for a room for a night from a local service called resort2me (which is a free service to find hotels in monterey) and also got a 15% discount on it. Great value hotel, v...
