The 217-room Hotel Phillips is a historical landmark located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, two blocks from the Convention Center.

Phillips Chophouse the hottest restaurant in downtown Kansas City serving Old World Classics with a contemporary flare. 12th and Baltimore for lunch or happy hour with co-workers or dinner with friends.

Guest services include a health club, concierge, shoe shine and dry cleaning.

The hotel is decorated in the Art Deco style. Accommodations feature two multi-line phones, voice mail, data ports and complimentary newspapers. Fax machines are available upon request.

A historic, architectural gem!
My husband and I flew to KC last weekend to attend a family wedding, staying only one night, unfortunately. Prior to our trip, I thoroughly researched every hotel in town. My criteria was

This hotel was located downtown in an area not exactly appropriate for tourism. The hotel was nice however.

Okay 
I liked that it was downtown and close to where I needed to be for meetings. The rooms were unique and the beds were soft.

Priceline Nightmare
Priceline listed as 4-5 star hotel. You would get better accomondations with Motel 6. Room was antiquated and not clean. Too much noise and service was just okay. Lobby is the good poin...

I am likely to return to the Hotel Phillips Kansas City.
I might recommend it to friends.
